The reason we chose Xpert Building is because they are also a small business and completely understood us. We collaborated on ways to keep the shop running and Trent came up with the idea of having a mini reception for part of the renovation so we could still operate. Other bigger companies were telling us to shut down for a few weeks for the fit out which wasn't really an option - so we went with Xpert Building. It turns out we made the right choice because the team was amazing! They came in to work before we opened and came back after we closed. This flexibility made the world of difference for us.

They transformed our salon from 4 rooms to 9 with a large reception space in only 3 weeks. When I said that timeframe I thought they'd tell me there was no way it would be possible but it was with Xpert. I also expected for the build to run overtime and for the budget to keep creeping up. However the time frame was actually met to the day and the price was set in stone. Trent and the team were honest, trustworthy and reliable. Being a woman, I haven't had the most positive experiences in the past when it comes to dealing with tradesmen - however I felt nothing but respect from the team. There was a lot involved when it came to building codes which we weren't aware of but Trent is knowledgeable and ensured we had all the correct approvals. It's a nice feeling knowing everything has been done properly and legally. This is important to us for insurance purposes.
